MrBeast has reached another major milestone on YouTube, becoming the platform’s first individual creator to surpass 500 million subscribers.
The milestone comes less than a year after he became the most-subscribed individual creator on the platform. Reflecting on the achievement, the creator shared a message thanking viewers and supporters, describing the growth as something he never imagined when he first started uploading videos as a teenager.
Growth fueled by global expansion
Over the past several years, MrBeast has transformed from a traditional YouTube creator into a global media brand. His content is now distributed across multiple languages through dubbed and localized channels, helping expand his reach beyond English-speaking audiences.
Large-scale challenge videos, philanthropy-focused projects and high-budget productions have continued to drive viewership across his network. Recent projects have included international competitions, major giveaway events and collaborations with creators from around the world.
The creator has also expanded into businesses outside YouTube, including packaged food products, consumer brands and television projects. While MrBeast’s main channel remains the centerpiece of his content operation, the 500 million figure reflects the combined audience across numerous channels.
These include dubbed versions of his videos in multiple languages, as well as channels dedicated to gaming content, reaction videos, philanthropy initiatives and short-form clips. This network-based approach has become increasingly common among large creators looking to reach different audiences and geographic markets.
A record-setting year
Earlier this year, MrBeast revealed plans for what he described as one of the world’s largest creator membership programs, while continuing to expand his content and business ventures. He has also remained one of YouTube’s most-viewed creators, regularly generating hundreds of millions of views each month across his channels.
What began as a single-channel run by a teenager has grown into a network with hundreds of millions of subscribers worldwide.
