MrBeast recently discussed plans to build what he described as the “world’s largest membership program,” revealing that future subscriptions may include access to exclusive videos, behind-the-scenes content and new forms of interactive experiences.

According to Donaldson, the program is intended to go beyond standard channel memberships by offering multiple layers of content and participation opportunities tied directly to his productions and brand ecosystem.

New content formats under consideration

During the discussion, Donaldson explained that the membership system could include entirely separate categories of videos created specifically for paying subscribers.

Rather than simply providing early access or bonus footage, he suggested that some future content may be designed exclusively for members, including more experimental formats, behind-the-scenes productions and extended cuts of large-scale videos.

He also mentioned the possibility of integrating memberships more closely with live events, merchandise and fan-participation systems.

Subscription-focused strategy

Membership systems on platforms like YouTube and Patreon have become increasingly important for creators looking to diversify income sources and provide additional experiences for dedicated audiences.

Donaldson indicated that his goal is to create a large-scale system capable of supporting multiple types of content and fan engagement at once, rather than limiting memberships to a single platform feature, and to help large creators continue to expand beyond traditional video uploads and advertising-based monetization.

If implemented at the scale Donaldson described, the program could become one of the largest creator-focused subscription ecosystems tied to a single online personality, combining exclusive media, community access and platform-based memberships into a broader network of paid content.
