TikTok has launched its new Bulletin Board tool, an in-app broadcast channel that enables creators to post text, image or video updates directly to followers who opt in. The update is designed to complement TikTok’s short-form feed by offering a direct way for creators to issue one-to-many communications.

Key mechanics & eligibility

Creators aged 18 or older with at least 50,000 followers now gain access to the feature. When enabled, a Bulletin Board link appears beneath the creator’s profile bio; followers can tap the link to join and will receive notifications whenever a new post is published. Emoji reactions are supported, though follower replies are currently not enabled.

TikTok describes Bulletin Board as “a one-to-many broadcast channel, making it quick and easy for creators to post news and updates, share exclusive content.” The rollout follows months of testing, and early users include media outlets and sports brands such as People Magazine and Paris Saint‑Germain.

The feature introduces a new channel for creator-to-audience communication outside TikTok’s main algorithmic feed. By allowing followers to opt in, Bulletin Board posts may reach audiences more consistently than standard videos, which rely heavily on recommendation systems for visibility.

What to watch out for

While access is currently limited to creators with 50K+ followers, wider availability may follow. It is yet to be determined how Bulletin Board will be monetised or integrated with TikTok’s creator tools and analytics. Also important will be how creators leverage the format: whether it becomes a core part of content strategy or remains an optional add-on.

For now, Bulletin Board introduces a new way for creators to layer content delivery and deepen follower engagement.
