Nebula, a creator-owned streaming service, is teaming up with Spotify to deliver video podcasting content directly on Spotify. This collaboration offers content from more than 100 Nebula creators with an emphasis on education for Spotify’s “Spotify for Podcasters” hub.
A new partnership
Jordan Newman, Head of Content Partnerships at Spotify, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership. “Creators are at the core of everything we do at Spotify, so we are eager to partner with Nebula, a creator-built and creator-operated platform, to bring this content to our users across the globe,” Newman said, emphasizing the value of video in increasing fanbase engagement, growth, and retention for content creators.
“We are thrilled to introduce such an innovative and diverse slate of video content to our audience.”
Nebula CEO Dave Wiskus expressed similar excitement. “Nebula is home to so many talented and thoughtful creators. It’s important for us to build partnerships that highlight the amazing work our creators are doing,” Wiskus said.
“Spotify gives us an opportunity to expand our reach, not just in numbers but with the exact kind of audience who would most enjoy what we do.”
Creators in the spotlight
Popular YouTubers, including CinemaWins, Charles Cornell, Hello Future Me, Captain Midnight, Tale Foundry, Game Makers ToolKit, Todd in the Shadows, Adam Neely, The Closer Look, FD Signifier and Kat Blaque, will all have content featured in the deal. The huge range of topics covered by these creators guarantees a diverse offering for Spotify’s extensive user base.
Nebula’s growth
Nebula’s collaboration with Spotify marks a huge milestone in the company’s development and growth, especially after Nebula’s previous projects, which include the establishment of Nebula Motion Pictures, the film production division headed by filmmaker and cinematographer Valentina Vee. Nebula also debuted its news division, Nebula News, earlier this year with the premiere of its original series “War Room,” which was hosted by RealLifeLore’s Joseph Pisenti.
