Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson is at the center of a dispute following the release of videos by DogPack404, a former employee, who accuses him of behaving unethically. MrBeast hired the expertise of celebrity attorney Alex Spiro, who has handled cases involving well-known clients, including Alec Baldwin and Elon Musk.

DogPack404, whose real name is Dawson French, uploaded two videos that went viral, receiving over 25 million views in total. French claimed in these videos that MrBeast had hired a sexual offender and rigged his well-known cash giveaways. Jake Weddle, a different ex-employee, made statements in the video characterizing Mr. Beast as a “sociopath.”

In a cease-and-desist letter in response to these claims, Spiro accused French of spreading “false and defamatory allegations” and breaking the provisions of a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), which he had signed during his brief trial period with Mr. Beast. In addition to stressing that MrBeast “takes your unlawful content seriously,” the letter threatened legal action should French persist in posting such content.

Dawson isn’t backing down

French, though, is sticking to his guns. “MrBeast has knowingly kept rapists and pedophiles on payroll,” he claimed in an email to DailyMail.com. In spite of these grave charges, MrBeast has not yet responded to them in public. He has, meanwhile, separated himself from Tyson, voicing his disapproval of her behavior and pledging to perform a separate investigation.

What’s next for MrBeast?

It is very early in the legal battle, so it is unclear how it will impact Mr. Beast’s career. Now performing an internal audit of the MrBeast company, Spiro is attempting to determine whether these scandals are a sign of a toxic workplace or are simply growing pains in a company that is growing quickly.

With Mr. Beast’s reputation at stake, everyone is watching to see how this legal dispute plays out.
