The comedy brand Stapleview, which debuted in 2022 on TikTok, is stepping up its game with a new lineup of series that will premiere this fall.
Founded by Sam Grey and Daniel Lantsman, the company has become well-known for bridging the gap between traditional comedy and social media humor. “Ultimately, it comes down to empowering talent that can speak authentically,” Grey and Lantsman shared in a statement.
From TikTok to major social platforms
Stapleview’s new programming lineup features five shows that will be available on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. The two shows include the weekly talk show “Beautiful Questions with Kim and Aliyah,” hosted by Kim Seltzer and Aliya Kamalova, and the comedy series “Clear the Air,” where comedian Taylor Ortega humorously looks into public scandals.
In “Bareback Acres,” another highly anticipated show, Casey Thomas Brown plays a recently divorced guy who rediscovers himself via connection and cooking. Joey Dardano, a comedian from Los Angeles, will perform in a sketch series called “The Method.” Joe Gleason and Alex Forrest will take the stage in the sketch show “Home Planet.”
Bridging social media and traditional comedy
Stapleview is not just about making people laugh on social media — it’s can also be a stepping stone for rising stars. This year, Jane Wickline, one of the original comedians from Stapleview, joined the “Saturday Night Live” cast. Lantsman and Grey are committed to finding and developing similar talent in the hopes that they will gain traction in traditional media.
Stapleview is ready for a huge year, with three more series in production and five more shows launching this fall. These upcoming projects include the workplace comedies “Ad World” and “Escape Room,” as well as the philosophical program “45 Years Left,” which explores the challenges of living a typical human existence.
