French YouTuber Squeezie’s final GP Explorer event set a new record with 1.4 million simultaneous viewers on Twitch, making it one of the most-watched French-language livestreams to date. The Formula 4 racing tournament, staged at Le Mans’ Circuit Bugatti, also drew an in-person audience of about 200,000 spectators across the three-day event, with tickets starting at €69 ($80).

Expanded format plus entertainment

Alongside the racing, GP Explorer 3 featured concerts from artists including Vladimir Cauchemar, Joyca, Tiakola and Myd on Friday and Saturday evenings. Ahead of the final race, the French air force’s Patrouille de France performed a flypast over the circuit.

This year’s event included 24 content creator drivers, with international contestants joining for the first time. Spanish streamer Karchez won the tournament, followed by France’s Kaatsup in second and Maxime Biaggi in third. U.S. creators Ludwig Ahgren and Michael Reeves placed ninth and 14th. Kaatsup, who has 1.8 million TikTok followers, became the first woman to stand on the GP Explorer podium in its three editions.

Squeezie, racing under the Netflix banner, started ninth in the final contest but did not complete the race.

Origins of GP Explorer

The series traces back to a 2020 charity livestream where Squeezie pledged to host a real-life motorsport tournament if donations surpassed €100,000, which they did. GP Explorer launched in 2022, drawing more than one million viewers on Twitch in its first year. Each edition grew in scale, culminating in the 2025 event labeled “The Last Race.”

While announcing the third edition as the final GP Explorer, Squeezie told “L’Équipe” he is considering other racing projects, including an entry-level league for young drivers who lack financial backing to compete in motorsport.
