MrBeast, Jimmy Donaldson, has opened an internal investigation in response to several serious claims of misconduct within his organization. This investigation was launched following a number of alarming incidents, including allegations against his longtime collaborator Ava Kris Tyson.

Allegations that sparked internal review

In an internal email to his employees, Donaldson provided a plan of action to address the issues.

“As your leader, I take responsibility, and I am committed to continue to improve and evolve my leadership style,” he wrote. Although his attention had previously been on content creation and other projects, Donaldson stressed that he now understands the need to create a safe and positive work environment.

Allegations against Ava Kris Tyson

Ava Kris Tyson has been accused of inappropriate behavior, including grooming a minor, which sparked the internal investigation. Tyson has subsequently resigned from her position with the company, despite her denial of these allegations.

Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan was hired by Donaldson to undertake a comprehensive and unbiased investigation, which involved probing not only Tyson’s conduct but also the culture of MrBeast HQ as a whole.

Additionally, Donaldson has made a number of changes in response to the current investigation. These include appointing a new chief human resources officer, implementing required training on diversity, safety and workplace behavior, and setting up an anonymous reporting system for staff members.

Concerns about company culture

Concerns have been expressed over the MrBeast organization’s overall culture in addition to Tyson’s accusation. One of Donaldson’s strongest critics has been the YouTuber DogPack404, who claims that MrBeast has manipulated the results of his videos and created a toxic work environment.

“Everybody loves Jimmy, and behind closed doors, he is not super great,” DogPack claimed in one of his videos. Responses to these allegations have been divided; although some current and former workers support DogPack’s allegations, others stand behind Donaldson. Donaldson has yet to respond to the allegations, but is expected to do so soon.
