Due to serious allegations of sending inappropriate texts to a minor, Ava Kris Tyson is leaving the MrBeast team forever.

Allegations and response

Inappropriate screenshots surfaced online, showing messages Tyson allegedly sent to a 13-year-old when she was 20. One message said, “I posted some fire noods for you. Pls no share,” and another included a Snapchat photo with the caption, “Cumming for America.”

In response to grooming allegations, Tyson stated on social media that her earlier humor was offensive and apologized, but denied grooming claims. “I never groomed anyone,” she stated. The now 20-year-old individual involved supported Tyson’s claims, saying, “Ava never did anything wrong and just made a few edgy jokes. I was never exploited or taken advantage of.”

Ava Kris Tyson’s departure

Tyson announced that she and MrBeast agreed it was best for her to step away from the team. “I don’t want these accusations to impact the hundreds of people who work at MrBeast, which is why I have stepped away,” she explained.

In a statement, Mr. Beast expressed his disapproval of Tyson’s alleged actions and implied he was the one who removed her from the company. He additionally mentioned enlisting the help of a third-party investigator to look into the allegations made against her.

“I am disgusted and opposed to such unacceptable acts,” he said. “I will allow the independent investigators the necessary time to conduct a comprehensive investigation and will take any further actions based on their findings.”

Moving forward

The situation at hand has impacted Ava Kris Tyson’s mental health, and she intends to prioritize her family and personal well-being. “We’ve mutually decided it’s best I permanently step away from all things MrBeast and social media to focus on my family and mental health,” she shared.

The individual involved in the accusations, known online as LavaGS, defended Tyson, stating, “Nothing bad happened between me and Kris. People are creating lies around my name. This situation takes away from children who are actively being exploited every day online. I am not a victim of anything being claimed.”

We will wait for the findings from the independent investigation. For clarity, Tyson admits to making “bad edgy jokes,” but not to grooming.
