After a nine-month break from regular streaming, Kai Cenat returned with one of the biggest livestreams of the year, drawing more than 1 million concurrent viewers across Twitch and YouTube. It was also the first time he ran a stream on both platforms at once.
For his first full broadcast since wrapping the record-breaking Mafiathon 3 in late 2025, Cenat skipped the expected gaming or “Just Chatting” return. He used the slot to reveal the roster for Streamer University 2026 instead. Names included Duke Dennis, Agent 00, Fanum, DDG, ImDontai, PlaqueBoyMax, ExtraEmily, Stable Ronaldo, Sketch, Jasontheween, Arky, YourRAGE and Duke Deuce. More students, professors and special guests will join them.
The stream peaked at 708,563 concurrent viewers on Twitch. Another 400,000-plus watched on YouTube, pushing the combined live audience past 1 million.
Streamer University takes center stage
Streamer University launched in 2025 as a multiday program that puts aspiring and established creators in the same building for collaborations, workshops and livestreams. Cenat opened applications for the second edition earlier this year through a Harry Potter-inspired trailer.
Dates and a location still haven’t been announced. The reveal stream made clear that planning is underway.
The million-viewer peak adds to a run of record-setting broadcasts. Cenat’s Mafiathon events rank among the largest livestreams Twitch has hosted, which is a big part of why he’s one of the platform’s most-watched creators.
