Kai Cenat has a university now. When creators who missed the cut for Streamer University 2026 started criticizing the selection, he answered with a diss track called “EBK.”
Streamer University is creating controversy
The trouble started with who got in. Streamer University takes a limited class, which means the list of creators left off runs a lot longer than the list of creators on it.
“EBK” is a New York drill-inspired track aimed at several creators who had criticized the program, including FunnyMike, DDG, RaKai and Ray.
FunnyMike hit back with “Undrafted,” aimed at the selection process. DDG followed with “Mike STFU,” taking shots at FunnyMike and Streamer University over the instrumental from Drake’s “Janice STFU.”
DDG had a stake in this. He attended the first Streamer University in 2025 and didn’t make this year’s lineup, and his track says so.
Cenat then called DDG on a livestream and gave him 48 hours to take the track down, warning that things would get worse if he didn’t. DDG said he was following FunnyMike’s lead. The track stayed up.
Kai is building something around his audience
Nobody had to cover any of this. The people in the feud are the coverage.
Everyone involved already has an audience in the millions. Every diss track and livestream call-out reaches those audiences the moment it drops.
The university is the piece worth studying. Cenat already has millions of people watching him stream. Streamer University gives him a format where other creators generate the footage, and the friction between them keeps producing more of it.
A livestream ends when the stream ends. Put a class of creators in one building and the stories keep coming for months. This feud is the proof, and nobody scripted it.
For anyone building an audience on a smaller scale, that’s the part worth stealing. Format beats output. Build something other people want to be part of and it produces content you never had to shoot.
