Announced following TwitchCon Europe 2026, the new Creator Certification program allows eligible Twitch creators to earn a badge indicating they are sponsorship-ready. The certification is available through Twitch’s Creator Camp education platform and aims to help streamers better understand how brand partnerships work.
According to Twitch, the certification focuses on sponsorship fundamentals, including campaign expectations, brand safety, professional communication and best practices for sponsored content. Creators who complete the program receive a certification badge that can be displayed on their profiles.
A short course focused on sponsorship basics
The certification is part of a new Creator Sponsorships learning path within Creator Camp. The course takes roughly 10 to 15 minutes to complete and includes lessons covering topics such as getting sponsored, understanding campaign requirements, running sponsored streams and creating brand-suitable content.
After completing the course and certification requirements, creators gain access to benefits beyond the profile badge itself.
Twitch says certified creators will receive creator profile identification within its sponsorship systems, making it easier for brands to identify streamers who have completed the training. Certified creators will also receive 12 hours of early access to Open Invite sponsorship campaigns and additional training opportunities related to long-term brand partnerships.
Expanding Twitch’s sponsorship ecosystem
The certification arrives as Twitch continues to expand monetization options beyond subscriptions, Bits and advertising.
At TwitchCon Europe, the platform also announced new sponsorship opportunities for Affiliates, including campaigns tied to games such as “Minecraft,” “Valorant,” “League of Legends” and “2XKO.” The new certification program is intended to help creators capitalize on those opportunities while giving brands greater confidence in selecting partners.
By introducing a certification system, Twitch is creating a standardized way for creators to demonstrate familiarity with sponsorship requirements while giving brands additional tools to identify potential partners.
