Livestreaming is about to get a major upgrade with the introduction of the Intelligent Streaming Assistant, a collaboration between  Streamlabs, NVIDIA and Inworld AI. This cutting-edge AI tool aims to improve engagement and simplify livestreaming.

A smart cohost and producer for streams

As a multifunction sidekick, the Intelligent Streaming Assistant combines the roles of a technical assistant, producer and 3D co-host. Equipped with NVIDIA’s ACE technology and Inworld AI’s cognitive engine, it looks to offer streamers contextual commentary and smooth technical support. The AI assistant aims to maintain active and exciting streams by engaging in chat or commenting on a dramatic gaming moment.

“We designed this to empower creators by managing the technical workload and enhancing engagement,” said Ashray Urs, Head of Streamlabs. “Now, creators can focus on what truly matters—producing content and connecting with their audience.”

Custom personalities for every creator

Streamers can personalize the assistant’s tone, choosing between sarcastic, supportive or lively personalities to suit their brand. From cheering on an epic gaming win to highlighting audience contributions, the AI assistant tailors its interactions to each unique stream.

Kylan Gibbs, CEO of Inworld AI, added, “Our engine enables real-time, context-aware interactions that deepen connections between creators and audiences.”

Simplified technical support

Managing streams can be overwhelming, especially for smaller creators. The assistant could make it easier by automating tasks like scene transitions, troubleshooting and even clipping highlights.

Set to debut at CES 2025, the Intelligent Streaming Assistant will be available through the Streamlabs App Store later this year.
